There are even zirconia of multi-colour. Improvements have even been made for coating cubic zirconia with diamond, causing it to be harder and more lustrous. Yet cubic zirconia is more perfectly colourless and refractive than diamond, therefore more beautiful in appearance.

In addition to the above , there are even multi-colored Cubic Zirconia Gemstones.

Besides being used for gems, Cubic Zirconia is used for creating containers to contain melted metal and furnaces. They are also used as abrasives in sandpaper. Presently they are being tested for use in dental fillings to replace titanium.

So, though diamonds are expensive, this does not mean that jewellery is out of reach of the average consumer. Zirconia Gems are more very affordable, and commonly used to accompany your dresses at events and parties.
